BLACKBURN ROVERS INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION ACADEMY
If you love football, Blackburn Rovers International Education Academy is the perfect place for you to combine your passion for sport with developing your English language skills. You will be taught by our highly qualified team of teachers and have access to our experienced FA football coaches. All English lessons are taught in the stadium in our modern classrooms with laptops available for you to use.
As you learn, you will experience life in a professional English football club as well as developing your football skills and making friends from all around the world. Whilst you study, the Academy will offer you assistance with accommodation, opening a bank account and will introduce you to the Blackburn Rovers family and the local area.
The International Education Academy is part of The Blackburn Rovers Community Trust. In 2014 The Trust engaged with 19,412 people of all ages. In the same year over 15, 500 hours of contact time with people on courses and programmes was successfully delivered. The Trust employs over 16 people and has in excess of 30 volunteers.
Key partnerships with The Trust include The Premier League, The Professional Footballers’ Association, Sport England and associated National Governing Bodies and the FA.

Blackburn Rovers was established in 1875, becoming a founding member of the footBall league in 1888. Blackburn is one of only three clubs to have been both a founder member of the footBall league and premier league (Aston Villa and Everton are the others).
Blackburn jointly holds the record for having the most consecutive wins of the FA Cup, as well as having the longest undefeated FA Cup run of 24 games.
Football legend, Alan Shearer (when at Blackburn Rovers) holds the record for the most goals scored in a 38-game season and a 42-game season. He scored 31 goals in 38 games in 1995/6, and 34 goals in 42 games in 1994/5.
In 1995 Blackburn Rovers held the ultimate title in the footballing world by winning the Premier League.
